In part 2 of my interview with Dr. Corey Hartman, a board-certified dermatologist practicing in Birmingham, Alabama, we discuss how derms address more than just skin issues. We also talk about when to see a dermatologist, skin cancer in the black community, and the epidemic rates of black women losing their hair. Plus, how to really know if a "protective hairstyle" is helping your hair, how wigs and hair glue may equal no edges, and finding a dermatologist that can properly treat African Americans and other people of color.
